The streaming lights were an interesting concept and were animated pretty smoothly but it just seemed like the whole movie was a flash experimentation. Like you just made this just to see if you could do it. Which is fine if it wasn't for its length. The movie is to long for its own good. The charm of watching streaming colors dance around the screen wears off extremely quickly. The audio quality was also poor. But since the colors were animated very smoothly and with precision I decided to give you a 5.

"Overly Melodramatic"

The whole premise of the movie just struck me as overly melodramatic. I rolled my eyes when I saw the main character (or "stick") approach the cliff to kill himself. Alot of errors were apparent thoughout the movie as well, such as the missing frame in the walking animation loop and some choppiness here and there, but seeing as this is your first, it's acceptable. If the movie wasn't trying so hard to provoke sadness and wasn't filled with cheesy dialogue, maybe I would've bumped up your overall score a couple more points.

"Breathtaking"

The animation in this movie is absolutely incredible. The sounds and music all fit perfectly with the mood of the movie, everything has an up-beat cheery feel which is very refreshing. The movie had some sort of Alice in Wonderland feeling, where everything is surreal and extraordinary. You really accomplished something here, I definitely see you making it as a cartoonist. (if you're not already) All in all, fantastic movie, one of the best things I've seen done with graphics and sound in flash in a long, long time.
